Job summary

PeopleStrong in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, is seeking an experienced BIM engineer to lead 3D modelling for precast and tall building projects.

The role requires 5-10 years experience and proficiency in Tekla (Precast), Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD and RC CAD. You will produce shop drawings, ensure code compliance, and coordinate with engineers to deliver quality drawings on schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 to 10 years in precast & tall buildings projects.
• Develop and manage 3D BIM models using Tekla (Precast) and Revit; generate shop drawings and quantity take-off.
• Prepare detailed CAD drawings for structural discipline using AutoCAD, RC CAD incl. reinforcement BBS & quantity take-off.
• Ensure models and drawings comply with defined standards and IS codes (detailing).
• Conduct clash detection and resolve issues within multi-disciplinary drawings.
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of all drafting and modelling outputs.

Job Description

• Prepare detailed CAD drawings for structural discipline using AutoCAD, RC CAD including the reinforcement BBS & quantity take off.
