About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong R&D / NPD Engineer – Power Electronics to join our team in Delhi. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience in the design, development, testing, validation, and improvement of UPS, inverters, and lithium battery-based power electronics products.

The candidate will be responsible for taking new products from the concept and design stage through prototype development, testing, validation, and production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop power electronics products, including UPS, inverters, and related systems.
• Lead New Product Development (NPD) activities from concept to production.
• Develop and validate power electronic circuits, control systems, and hardware.
• Work on DC-DC, DC-AC, AC-DC converters, inverter topology, power stages, and control systems.
• Work on products integrating Lithium Battery / BMS / ESS / battery systems.
• Perform design calculations, component selection, simulation, prototyping, testing, and validation.
• Conduct product testing, troubleshooting, failure analysis, and design improvements.
• Identify technical issues and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with PCB Design, Embedded, Mechanical, Production, Quality, and Testing teams for NPD projects.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, specifications, test reports, BOMs, and design records.
• Support prototype development, engineering validation, product qualification, and production transfer.
• Ensure products meet required performance, reliability, safety, and quality standards.
• Participate in continuous product improvement and cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Support technical evaluation and selection of components, vendors, and technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7–12 years of relevant experience in Power Electronics R&D / NPD.
• Strong hands‑on experience in UPS, Inverters, Power Conversion, or related Power Electronics products.
• Experience in Lithium Battery / BMS / ESS / Energy Storage will be highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of power electronics topologies, switching devices, magnetics, control circuits, and power conversion.
• Experience in product development, prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and validation.
• Good understanding of hardware design and power electronics circuit development.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Candidates with strong end‑to‑end NPD ownership will be preferred.

Compensation

CTC: 12 LPA – 20 LPA

Salary will be offered based on the candidate's experience, technical expertise, relevant industry exposure, and performance.
