Job summary

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Power Electronics Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced inverter and converter solutions for hybrid inverter NPD, outsourced/integration-based product development, and sustenance engineering. The role demands both deep technical expertise and leadership capability, guiding projects from concept through production while mentoring the next generation of engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead design and development of inverter and power converter topologies (DC-DC, DC-AC, AC-DC).
  • Simulate, analyze, and validate power stage designs for efficiency, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Oversee magnetics design, thermal analysis, and loss optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with international grid standards (IEEE 1547, IEC 61000, and others).
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical excellence within the team.
  • Support smooth transition from prototype to volume production, including documentation and testing.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to drive cross-disciplinary collaboration.
  • Effective decision-making under technical and business constraints.
  • Excellent documentation practices for knowledge sharing and compliance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with hardware, mechanical, and system-level teams.
Technical Expertise
  • Hands-on experience in power converter design and inverter topologies (HERIC, PSFB, Half/Full bridge).
  • Proficiency with wide bandgap devices (GaN, SiC) for high-performance designs.
  • Deep knowledge of magnetics design principles and implementation.
  • Expertise in thermal management and loss analysis of power stages.
  • Familiarity with grid-tie compliance standards and certification processes.
