Job summary

Nirmaan in Bengaluru is seeking an Electrical Quantity Estimation Engineer to support precise quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation for commercial MEP fitouts. The role demands a strong design background and the ability to interpret drawings and specifications accurately.

The candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD and MS Excel, with a good grasp of electrical systems and project costing. This is a hands-on position offering growth within estimation and commercial functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of electrical drawings and systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel (mandatory).
• Knowledge of commercial projects is preferred.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Good coordination and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs from design drawings and specifications.
• Develop and review BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for electrical works of fitouts.
• Analyze electrical drawings for estimation accuracy.
• Coordinate with design and project teams to validate quantities and scope.
• Assist in cost estimation, rate analysis, and budget preparation.
• Identify scope gaps, variations, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Support tendering and procurement teams with technical quantity inputs.
• Maintain estimation records and documentation as per company standards.
