Job summary

Krypton India Solutions in Bengaluru seeks an experienced quality professional to lead QC/QA programs. You will coordinate audits, develop procedures, and ensure products meet established standards through SPC analysis and data-driven improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with ISO Internal Auditing training and 5+ years of related experience. You will drive corrective actions, interface with registration bodies, and mentor the inspection team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and directs quality programs to ensure QC/QA of production.
• Maintains quality objectives aligned with corporate policies and goals.
• Implements Quality Management System to conform to requirements.
• Develops procedures and work instructions for inspection; applies SPC methods.
• Reviews data from QC/QA activities for consistency with policies.
• Keeps management informed with data analyses and corrective actions.
• Monitors customer feedback, process effectiveness, and supplier actions.
• Plans internal audits and interfaces with registration bodies as management rep.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and directs quality program designed to ensure quality control and quality assurance of the production of products consistent with established standards by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
• Formulates and maintains quality objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals and interprets quality philosophy to key personnel in organization.
• Maintains a working knowledge of government and industry quality codes and standards and creates and implements the Quality Management System to conform to the requirements.
• Develops and initiates procedures and work instructions for inspection to ensure the quality of product and applies statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate product and process quality.
• Reviews all data obtained during all quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures.
• Keeps management team abreast of significant issues or developments identified during quality activities by preparing and presenting data analysis information to the management team and actions being taken to improve the situation.
• Monitor customer feedback and complaints, process effectiveness, and supplier activities and verify the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Plans and schedules internal audits and interfaces with registration bodies as management representative.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Education & Experience

• Completion of an ISO Internal Auditing course from an accredited source and actively participated in at least 1 internal audit and/or registration audit.
• Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university
• 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and suppliers.
• Ability to manage inspection team and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Good working knowledge of IPC-A-610 Acceptance Standard.
