Job summary

MPS Precision Engineering in Bengaluru is seeking a quality engineering professional to establish and maintain in-house quality standards, drive ISO compliance, and lead CAPA programs. Responsibilities

• Establish in-house quality standards and report on quality performance to meet goals
• Manage and provide feedback on complaints; handle technical complaints from customers, internal teams and suppliers
• Lead ISO certification and audits; develop and maintain ISO documents; assist MR functions; knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO14001 and AS9100
• Plan and source measuring instruments; specify gauges and standards; oversee calibration activities
• Apply APQP/PPAP, FMEA, control plans, SOPs and process flows for quality control
• Respond to line failures and drive CAPA to prevent recurrence
• Develop suppliers by establishing quality standards, systems, training, audits, and improvement plans
• Prepare MIS reports (weekly/monthly/NC reports) and conduct process analysis
• Collect data to identify causes of process/mechanical problems and implement machine fixes
• Work on multiple tasks with clear priority setting and time management
• Implement stringent quality systems to ensure high standards across all production stages
• Maintain 5S on the shop floor to enhance safety, discipline and productivity
• Train and develop team members to sustain quality performance

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Establishment of in-house quality standards Achieve Quality goals / targets, Ensure periodic reporting of Quality Performance,
• Managing and providing feedback on complaints Handle technical complaints (Customers/Internal/Suppliers)
• ISO certification and audits Develop, Update and maintain all ISO documents. Assist MR functions, Knowledge on ISO 9001 ISO14001& AS9100
• Measuring Instruments Plan for new instruments, standards, gauges, and other appropriate measuring equipment s based on technical requirements, Handling Calibration
• Hands on experience in in APQP PPAP, FMEA, Control plan, SOP, Process flow
• Attending to line failures ensuring execution of CAPA to overcome the failure.
• Supplier Development Establish quality standards, systems, and training, assess performance, conduct audits, recommend improvements.
• Preparing MIS Reports (Weekly, Monthly Report, NC Report,) and process Analysis Charts
• Collect the data for the causes of process / mechanical problems and solve the problems on the machine.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities.
• Implementing stringent systems and quality plans to ensure high quality standards at all the stages of production.
