Key Responsibilities & Tasks
- Manage the Quality Management System, monitoring, reviewing and enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the QMS and its processes.
- Define KPIs as per QMap, ensuring targets are met or, where they are not, ensuring corrective actions are effectively implemented.
- Communicate with global internal customers and external customers about quality matters.
- Consult with department leadership on QMS standards and initiatives.
- Promote awareness of QMS direction and status through global updates.
- Contribute to the promotion and awareness of customer requirements.
- Champion the Quality Improvement Program, identifying opportunities to drive continual improvement toward zero defects.
- Participate as a site representative in critical network improvement programs.
- Provide technical leadership and support for quality systems.
- Maintain knowledge of QMS standards, methods, and tools.
- Support internal functions on the application, maintenance, and improvement of quality systems and department‑specific processes.
- Maintain knowledge of project management and tools.
- Deliver presentations and training courses on measurement, analysis, improvement, and control.
- Manage and develop the QMS team, establishing goals, conducting performance appraisals, coaching, and providing career development.
- Identify strengths, create specific development plans, and provide guidance or mentoring to team members as necessary.
- Recognize good effort, promote continual improvement, and drive accountability.
- Promote teamwork and resolve conflict.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or equivalent.
- Lead Auditor for IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
- At least 18+ years of experience in the semiconductor, EMS, or related industry in a managerial role.
- Familiarity with AIAG 5 core tools.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate needs into actionable plans, deliverables, and resources.
- Excellent organizational, management, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Proven track record as an internal auditor or Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
- In‑depth knowledge and experience in deploying FMEA, PPAP, control plans, SPC, MSA.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and familiarity with advanced techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Experience working with external auditors and managing customer relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A degree or equivalent experience in engineering or a related field.
