Job summary

EIS Manufacturing in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu, is seeking a qualified Quality Inspector MPI to perform Magnetic Particle Inspection and related quality inspections to ensure conformance with product specifications and customer requirements.

The role requires hands-on NDT experience and adherence to the company QMS, with responsibilities spanning inspection execution, reporting, and contributing to corrective actions and audits.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Valid ASNT Level II / ISO 9712 Level II certification in Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) is preferred.
• 2 - 5 years of MPI/NDT inspection experience within manufacturing, fabrication, forging, casting, oil & gas, aerospace, or heavy engineering industries.

Responsibilities

• Perform Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) on products in accordance with approved procedures and applicable standards.
• Interpret and evaluate inspection results and determine product acceptance or rejection.
• Prepare and maintain accurate inspection reports and relevant documentation.
• Verify dimensions, surface finish, and workmanship by visual inspection and using measuring instruments.
• Identify and report non-conforming products and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with production team to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure inspection equipment is calibrated and maintained as per company requirements.
• Support internal, customer, and third-party quality audits.
• Follow all safety procedures while handling MPI equipment, chemicals, and inspection materials.
• Maintain housekeeping and ensure compliance with EHS guidelines.

Job Description Quality Inspector NDE (MPI Magnetic Particle Inspection) Position: Quality Inspector MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspection) Gender: Male

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Quality Inspector MPI to perform Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and other quality inspection activities to ensure conformance of products with product specification requirements, customer requirements and internal QMS requirements. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in non-destructive testing (NDT) and quality inspection of manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) on products in accordance with approved procedures and applicable standards.
• Interpret and evaluate inspection results and determine product acceptance or rejection.
• Prepare and maintain accurate inspection reports and relevant documentation.
• Verify dimensions, surface finish, and workmanship by visual inspection and using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, thread inspection gauges, thread plug gauges and other inspection tools.
• Identify and report non-conforming products and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with production team to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure inspection equipment is calibrated and maintained as per company requirements.
• Support internal, customer, and third-party quality audits.
• Follow all safety procedures while handling MPI equipment, chemicals, and inspection materials.

Required Qualifications
