Responsibilities

NDT Technician (NDT) - Onshore & Offshore

Job Summary

Radiago Work Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a qualified and dedicated NDT Technician to join our dynamic team. The candidate will be responsible for carrying out Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections at client sites while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct NDT inspections using approved methods such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Thickness Gauging, and other applicable techniques.
• Perform inspections in accordance with relevant codes, standards, procedures, and client requirements.
• Record, evaluate, and interpret test results to identify defects and discontinuities.
• Prepare and submit accurate inspection reports and related documentation.
• Ensure proper maintenance, handling, and calibration of inspection equipment and accessories.
• Take full responsibility for the safety and condition of equipment issued for inspection activities and ensure their return without damage.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, Third-Party Inspection (TPI) agencies, and site representatives.
• Coordinate with clients regarding site documentation requirements, including gate passes, work permits, safety inductions, police verification certificates, and material entry/exit formalities.
• Ensure timely execution of assigned jobs within agreed schedules and project timelines.
• Complete Job Cards accurately, obtain client signatures and stamps, and submit them to the Operations Department.
• Submit preliminary inspection reports to clients before leaving the site or as required.
• Provide daily updates on job status to the Team Lead, Operations Manager, and Head of Department.
• Coordinate effectively with team members, site leads, operations personnel, and clients for smooth execution of inspection activities.
• Follow all company safety policies, quality procedures, and site-specific requirements.
• Continuously upgrade technical knowledge and skills to meet evolving industry and customer requirements.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work on different NDT methods, projects, locations, and shifts as required.

Job Requirements

Proven experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).

• Strong knowledge of NDT techniques, inspection procedures, and related equipment.
• Ability to interpret codes, standards, and technical specifications.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Willingness to travel and work at client sites as required.

Qualification

Any Graduate, or

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or
• Diploma in Metallurgical Engineering.

Certification

Mandatory: NDT Level II Certification in one or more methods (UT, MT, PT, RT, VT, etc.).

Preferred Skills

• Experience in industrial inspections, fabrication, construction, oil & gas, petrochemical, power, marine, or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and inspection documentation.
• Familiarity with client and third-party inspection requirements.
