Job summary

Career Tree Hr Solutions is seeking a qualified NDT Level II inspector to perform weld inspections and QA checks on welded structures. You will inspect using UT, MT, PT and Visual methods, coordinate with production and raise NCRs as needed.

You should be willing to work in rotational shifts and have hands-on SAP QM module experience, with diploma in mechanical engineering and 3-5 years of relevant experience. Salary range 40K-50K.

Qualifications

• NDT Level II certification in UT/PT/MT/VT per ASNT/ISO 9712.
• Visual, UT, MT, PT weld inspections and defect identification.
• Dimensional fit-up and final inspections of welded structures.
• Raise NCRs for non-conformances and process deviations.
• Coordinate with Shift Production Engineer for daily inspection needs.
• Hands-on SAP QM module experience required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out weld quality inspections (Visual, UT, MT, PT) on welded joints.
• Perform dimensional fit-up inspections and final inspections.
• Identify productivity improvements from an inspection perspective.
• Prepare stagewise inspection checklists for components and assemblies.
• Raise flags for non-conformance and stop-work when necessary.
• Coordinate with production for daily inspection priorities.
• Ensure drawings are followed and identify deviations.

Role & responsibilities

• NDT Level II in UT/PT/MT/VT as per ASNT/ISO 9712 or ASNT-Level-II
• Ready to work in all three shifts
• Hands on experience in usage of UT of welded structure and able to identify the weld defects.
• Carry out inspection of weld quality Visual ,UT, MT, & PT of Weld Joints.
• Should be able to do Dimensional Fit up inspections and Final inspections of welded structures.
• Raise flag for any non-conformance/process deviations
• Create awareness among team to raise stop work/Quality Concern on small deviations
• Well convergent with component and assembly drawings
• Identify productivity improvement opportunities from Inspection perspective.
• Prepare stagewise Inspection checklist for components and assemblies
• Raise NCR when any non-conformance is noticed.
• Coordinate with Shift Production Engineer on daily inspection needs/priorities.
• Hands on experience on QM Module of SAP
• Candidates willing to work in rotational Shifts
