Job summary

Safran Aircraft Engine Services India Private Limited in Hyderabad is seeking an NDT Inspector proficient in UT Straight Beam and Angle Beam flaw detection, PAUT data acquisition, and interpretation. You will set up and calibrate NDT equipment, evaluate inspection results for defects, and document reports, ensuring EN4179/NAS 410 compliance and alignment with engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Proficient in UT Straight Beam and Angle Beam flaw detection techniques.
• Knowledge of PAUT scanning, data acquisition, and interpretation.
• Experience with FPI and MPI inspection processes and defect evaluation.
• Familiarity with aerospace and industrial standards, including EN4179, NAS 410, ASTM, ASME, and customer specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and inspection procedures.
• Good understanding of material properties, and defect characterization.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspections using UT Straight Probe, UT Angle Probe, PAUT, FPI, and MPI methods in accordance with approved procedures and standards.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate NDT equipment and instruments.
• Evaluate inspection results and identify defects, discontinuities, and non-conformities.
• Interpret and record inspection data accurately and prepare inspection reports.
• Ensure compliance with EN4179/NAS 410 requirements and company quality procedures.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain inspection records, calibration records, and traceability documentation
