Job summary

Role & responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and procedures for machine shop operations.
• Conduct inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
• Identify areas for quality improvement and work collaboratively with the production team to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Analyze root causes of quality issues and develop solutions to address them.
• Maintain accurate records of quality tests, inspections, and findings.
• Prepare quality reports and communicate quality metrics to management and relevant stakeholders.
• Provide training to machine shop personnel on quality control processes and best practices.
• Perform mechanical and dimensional testing on machined components using various measurement tools and equipment.
• Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) when required.

Preferred candidate profile
