Job summary

APA Engineering Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector in Chennai to perform product, process, and supplier quality inspections.

You will review drawings, prepare inspection plans, and conduct dimensional testing, documenting results and driving corrective actions with suppliers. The role requires familiarity with GD&T, ISO 9001:2015, ERP systems, and strong communication to coordinate with internal teams and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experience in performing product, process and supplier quality inspections.
• Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation.
• Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and supplier quality auditing.

Responsibilities

• Perform product, process, and supplier quality inspections.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Prepare inspection plans based on ballooned drawings and OE samples.
• Conduct dimensional inspections, testing, and measurements.
• Prepare and upload inspection and test reports.
• Identify supplier quality issues and drive corrective actions (CAR).
• Conduct supplier meetings and follow up on action plan implementation.
