Job summary

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans for full-stack web applications.
• Build and maintain scalable Playwright automation frameworks using TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing across UI and backend layers.
• Validate complex business workflows, system integrations, APIs, and backend data flows.
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines and maintain reliable continuous test execution.
• Use AI/LLM-assisted testing tools for test-case generation, failure analysis, and improving test coverage.
• Analyze defects, identify recurring quality issues, and recommend improvements to testing strategy.
• Collaborate with frontend, backend, product, and engineering teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Validate backend data structures, including MongoDB, as part of end-to-end testing.
• Contribute to automation framework improvements, reusable components, test data strategies, and overall quality engineering practices.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong hands-on experience in manual and automation testing of enterprise-scale web applications.
• Proven expertise in Playwright automation using TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Strong experience testing React applications, REST APIs, and backend systems.
• Good understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience integrating and scaling test automation within CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments.
• Exposure to AI/LLM-assisted testing and modern QA tooling is desirable.
• Knowledge of API contract testing, schema validation, data-driven testing, mocks, and service virtualization is preferred.
• Exposure to performance, load, or reliability testing is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, debugging, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Supply Chain / Logistics domain experience is a plus.
