Job summary

Bacancy Technology is seeking a Full-Stack QA Engineer to own end-to-end product quality across manual and automation testing. The role emphasizes thinking like a quality owner, identifying edge cases, and communicating risks effectively.

You will design test strategies and automate using Playwright, perform API testing, and collaborate with Development, Product and DevOps to continuously improve coverage and release readiness.

Qualifications

• Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) expertise required.
• Experience with manual testing across functional, regression, exploratory, UI/UX, edge cases.
• Ability to design automation and integrate into CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and execute manual test cases across functional, regression, exploratory, UI/UX, and edge cases.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Own quality for assigned modules/features from requirements to production release.
• Perform API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Log, track, and validate defects until closure.
• Participate in requirement reviews and shift-left testing practices.
• Prepare test strategies, test plans, and release checklists.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with Development, Product, and DevOps teams.
• Continuously improve test coverage and testing efficiency.
