Job summary

Lead Hr Services is seeking a Quality Engineer with 6–7 years of experience to manage in-process inspections and resolve customer quality issues in a steel/auto stamping environment.

The role requires BE Mech and knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF16949, with proficiency in SAP and MS Office. Shift work and site-based tasks are expected, supporting sales and production teams in process improvements.

Qualifications

• BE Mech degree required.
• Experience of 6–7 years in quality roles.
• Experience in steel/automotive sheet metal stamping preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF16949.
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

• In-process quality inspection during shifts.
• Handle customer quality complaints and submit action plans.
• Assist sales team to close issues.
• Update daily production, inspection and rework records.
• Attend and resolve customer quality complaints and root-c cause analysis.
• Implement and monitor QMS (ISO 9001, IATF16949).

Role & responsibilities

Quality Engineer

( Experience : 06 to 7 Yrs (( Experience with Steel and Automobile Industry is added Advantage)

Qualification : BE Mech

Description :

Taking care of inprocess quality inspection in shift basis working.

Attending customer complaint for any quality claim on need basis & Submitting action plan to customer and assisting sales team to close the issue.

Tata Steel SPC QA person for day to day RM Quality issue Hold coil salvaging .

Updating daily production, inspection and rework record.

Knowledge of steel defect, and steel processing center is must.

Working experience in steel industries / Automotive sheet metal stamping industries is required,

To be attend and handle the customer quality complaint

Handling and implementing QMS system like ISO9001 and IATF16949 and various quality tools required.

Computer knowledge MS- Excel, MS- Word, Power Point.

Working Knowledge in SAP system is preferred.
