Job summary

Grid Dynamics is seeking a Quality Engineer to own end-to-end QA for scalable retail and order-management platforms, leveraging Playwright, JavaScript and Java.

You will design and execute automation, perform API and backend testing, validate JSON/XML, work with Kafka/Amazon MQ and monitoring tools like Splunk and Grafana, and help ensure production-readiness across builds. AWS experience is preferred, and collaboration across geographies is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end QA with automation
• Hands-on automation testing using Playwright and Cucumber
• Strong API testing and backend testing skills
• Cloud experience, preferably AWS
• Experience with data validation and monitoring tools

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Own E2E QA across manual and automation testing.
• Design, develop, and execute automation tests using Playwright, Cucumber, Selenium/Cypress/Appium.
• Perform API, integration, backend, and platform testing for Java-based applications.
• Validate JSON/XML, APIs, transactions, logs, metrics, and traces.
• Work with Kafka/Amazon MQ and distributed systems.

• Perform testing across build, release, and production-readiness phases.

Required Skills (Important)

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and Java.
