Job summary

Careernet is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer in Chennai to design and own automated test frameworks across API, UI, and end-to-end layers for merchandising and pricing platforms.

You will build and maintain automation suites for API and UI testing, integrate them into CI/CD pipelines, and lead test design for distributed systems, focusing on resilience and performance testing. You will mentor junior QA engineers to raise testing standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of quality engineering / test automation experience with strong emphasis on API and UI automation
• 3+ years hands-on programming experience in Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Selenium-based UI test automation
• Playwright for UI automation
• QA automation and CI/CD-embedded automated testing

Responsibilities
