Job summary

Digile is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks with a strong emphasis on Java and Playwright. This role focuses on delivering high-quality software by building robust UI and API tests and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.

You will analyze results, report defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues, while reinforcing testing processes and documentation throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Java programming and automated testing.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation.
• Experience in UI and API automation testing.
• Understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC).
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps.

Skills/Other Details

• Hands-on experience with Playwright automation framework .
• Experience in UI and API automation testing.
• Good understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC).
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber).
• Knowledge of REST Assured / Postman for API testing.
• Exposure to Docker and cloud platforms.
• Performance testing exposure (JMeter, Gatling).
