Responsibilities

• Inspect raw material inward and ensure proper weighing and traceability.
• Monitor roasting, grinding, blending, sieving, and packaging inspections.
• Maintain Packing In-Process Quality Check Records and finished product release.
• Ensure hygiene, GMP, and HACCP compliance; document records and food safety responsibilities.

Quality Assurance Executive

Department: Quality Assurance / Quality Control

Position: IPQC / QA Executive

Reporting To: Quality Head / Food Safety Team Leader

Employment Type: Full-Time

1. Job Purpose

To ensure that all raw materials, processing activities, in-process materials, packaging operations, and finished products meet defined food safety, quality, hygiene, process, and specification requirements.

The IPQC/QA Executive shall monitor and verify quality at each stage of production and maintain the required records and documentation as per the company's FSSC 22000, GMP, GHP, HACCP and internal quality requirements.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Raw Material Inward Inspection

B. Raw Material Accumulation / Weighing

• Check weighing scales for proper functioning and calibration status.
• Verify the weighing of each ingredient against the approved recipe/BOM.
• Ensure correct identification and traceability of accumulated materials.
• Prevent mix-up of different raw materials or batches.

C. Roasting Process Inspection

D. Grinding Process Inspection

E. Blending / Batch Mixing Inspection

F. Sieving / Vibro Shifter Inspection

G. Packaging Quality & Integrity Inspection

• Maintain Packing In-Process Quality Check Record.

7. Required Skills & Qualification

Qualification:

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry or related field preferred.
• Diploma/degree in a relevant food/quality field may also be considered based on experience.

Experience:

• Experience in food manufacturing/masala/spice processing is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and quality systems is desirable.

8. Overall Responsibility

The IPQC/QA Executive is responsible for ensuring that quality and food safety are controlled at every stage of the manufacturing process, from raw material receipt through processing, packing and finished product release, and that all required inspections, monitoring and records are completed accurately.
