Job summary

NTT DATA North America is hiring a Salesforce Testing Sr. Engineer in Chennai, India. You will develop and maintain QA testing strategies, design test cases, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business requirements are met.

You will contribute to regression testing, participate in Agile ceremonies, and leverage Jira/Confluence for test tracking and documentation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in test case design at different levels (component, integration).
• Strong knowledge of QA processes, methodologies and test design techniques with hands-on Jira and Confluence experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask, manage time, and meet deadlines.
• Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive team relationships.
• Analytical mindset for solution design and implementation.
• Interest in understanding strategic goals and contributing to business objectives.

Position overview

• Collaborating with developers, stakeholders, project/product management, and other QA team members

Positions General Duties and Tasks:

• Create and execute manual test cases to validate that all business requirements are met.
• Complete rigorous QA checks on every change made within the Org.
• Help with regression testing during releases and assist with Testing/QA
• Track and control the testing execution in tools such as Jira
• Experience in working in an Agile Development environment and well verse with Confluence and Jira tools
• Collaborating with developers, stakeholders, project/product management, and other QA team members.

Must have Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in test case design at different levels (component, integration).
• Good knowledge of QA processes, methodologies and test design techniques with hands on experience with Jira and confluence.
• Strong attention to detail is critical for this position, and you should be able to multitask, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Strong working knowledge on Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to create positive working relationships with a team.

Nice to have, but not required:

• Highly preferred: Knowledge of Salesforce lightning configurations, features and architecture.
• Experience in Development and maintenance of QA test cases and has exposure to testing strategy for Salesforce.
• Any certification in Salesforce.
• QA related certifications e.g. ISTQB
• Experience in accessibility (A11Y) testing

Requirements:
