Job Description: Quantity Surveyor (QS) Billing Engineer - MEP

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor (QS) Billing Engineer to join our MEP team. This is a hands‑on, site‑based role for a professional with practical experience in project financial and material management. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, on‑the‑ground expert, not someone in a purely coordination‑based position.

Key Responsibilities

• Billing and Invoicing: Manage all billing activities, including preparing and submitting Running Account (RA) bills for clients and processing bills for subcontractors.
• Site Management: Conduct quantity take‑offs and site measurements to ensure all billing is accurate and aligns with on‑site work.
• Documentation and Approvals: Prepare essential project documents such as Material Inspection Reports (MIR) and Joint Measurement Records (JMR). You will be responsible for getting these documents approved by clients, Project Management Consultants (PMCs), and vendors.
• Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation to ensure financial records are accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Inventory and Revenue Optimization: Oversee stock review and identify opportunities to optimize project revenue.
• Project Collaboration: Work closely with on‑site teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and accurate financial tracking.

Qualifications and Experience

• Educational Background: A Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree (or) Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Work Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Technical Skills: Experience with SAP is preferred
