Job summary

Connect Hr is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance professional to lead QMS initiatives in line with ISO 9001 standards. You will develop and maintain procedures, coordinate audits, close findings, and drive CAPA actions within a cross-functional manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes RCA, NCR management, document control, and ongoing process optimization to meet customer requirements and achieve measurable quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Diploma / DME / BE / Any Degree.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in QMS.
• Experience in ISO 9001 implementation and maintenance.
• Experience with audits (internal and external) and closing findings.
• Hands-on NCR, CAPA, RCA, 8D and corrective action processes.
• Experience in QMS documentation, SOPs and document control.
• Experience handling customer complaints and corrective actions.
• Understanding of quality KPIs and process performance monitoring.
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams (Production, Engineering, etc.).
• Manufacturing/automotive/engineering industry background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) as per ISO 9001 requirements.
• Prepare, review and maintain quality procedures, SOPs, work instructions, formats and quality records.
• Plan and coordinate internal audits, external audits and customer audits.
• Ensure timely closure of audit findings, NCRs and observations.
• Handle NCR, CAPA and corrective/preventive action activities.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using appropriate problem-solving techniques such as 5 Why, Fishbone and 8D.
• Control and maintain quality-related documents and records, ensuring proper revision and traceability.
• Manage document changes, revisions and change-control activities.
• Monitor quality objectives, KPIs and process performance and prepare periodic reports.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering and other departments to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Handle customer complaints, coordinate root-cause investigation and ensure timely corrective action and closure.
• Track effectiveness of corrective actions and ensure preventive actions are implemented.
• Support continuous improvement and process improvement initiatives.
• Conduct awareness/training related to QMS procedures, SOPs and quality requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards, procedures and customer requirements.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Qualification: Diploma / DME / BE / Any Degree.
• Experience: 5 to 7 years, with strong hands‑on experience specifically in QMS.
• Candidates should have practical experience in ISO 9001 implementation and maintenance.
• Strong exposure to internal and external audits, audit preparation and closure of findings.
• Hands‑on experience in NCR, CAPA, RCA, 8D and corrective action processes.
• Good experience in QMS documentation, SOPs, work instructions and document control.
• Experience handling customer complaints and corrective actions.
• Should understand quality KPIs, quality objectives and process performance monitoring.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with Production, Engineering and other cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Preference for candidates from a manufacturing/automotive/engineering industry with direct QMS responsibility.
