Qualifications

• Experience in implementing and maintaining QMS per ISO 9001/IATF 16949.
• Ability to conduct and coordinate internal audits, prepare reports and close out actions.
• Strong documentation practices and control over quality records.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and applicable standards.
• Plan and conduct internal audits and coordinate external certification audits.
• Prepare, review, and control quality documents, procedures, SOPs, and records.
• Monitor CAPA and track timely closure of actions.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Support customer audits and address audit findings.
• Conduct QMS training and awareness programs for staff.
• Analyze quality performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement quality systems.

We are looking for a Manager /Assistant Manager QMS to manage and improve the organization's Quality Management System (QMS). The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards, maintaining quality documentation, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling Customer Complaints, Maintain and improve the Quality Management System in line with company and customer requirements.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other applicable standards.
• Plan and conduct internal audits and coordinate external certification audits.
• Prepare, review, and control quality documents, procedures, SOPs, and records.
• Monitor and track Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for timely closure.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
• Support customer audits and address audit findings.
• Conduct QMS-related training and awareness programs for employees.
• Analyze quality performance data and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of quality systems.

Preferred candidate profile

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Understanding of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and quality tools.
• Experience in internal audits, documentation control, and compliance management.
• Knowledge of FMEA, APQP, PPAP, 5 Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, and CAPA.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation practices.

Qualification:

BE/B.Tech. /Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Rubber, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

5 to 10 years of experience in QMS, Quality Assurance, or Quality Control.

Preferred:

Certified Internal Auditor (ISO 9001/IATF 16949).

Experience in manufacturing, automotive, rubber, or engineering industries.
