Job summary

Canis Talent Solutions in India seeks a Mechanical QA/QMS engineer to maintain and improve the QMS per ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and ensure compliance with customer requirements.

You will prepare SOPs, work instructions, control plans, conduct internal audits, lead CAPA and root-cause analysis, monitor quality KPIs, and coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Purchase to drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech Mechanical Engineering degree.
• 5–8 years of experience in QMS / Quality Assurance.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and internal auditing.
• Hands-on CAPA, root cause analysis and problem-solving.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA and Control Plan.
• Understanding of CNC, VMC, HMC turning and milling processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor quality KPIs, customer complaints, rejection trends and process performance.
• Coordinate Management Review Meetings (MRM) and prepare quality reports.
• Support NPD quality documentation and conduct QMS awareness training.
• Ensure compliance with customer and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Purchase teams for process improvement.
