Job summary

GUS Education India is seeking a Specialist - Quality Assurance & Testing (Junior QA) to join the QA team on a 3‑month contract in Hyderabad. The role supports UK shift hours (12:30pm–9:30pm) from Monday to Friday with a hybrid work setup.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of QA experience, strong STLC/SDLC knowledge, and hands‑on testing across functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end scenarios. Proficiency with Jira and test management tools is required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years hands‑on experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong knowledge of STLC, SDLC and defect life cycle.
• Experience in functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Good understanding of test case design and execution.
• Hands‑on experience with Jira or similar defect management tools.
• Experience with test management tools such as Testmo, Zephyr, TestRail or similar.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Timely execution of QA tasks including test case design and execution, defect logging and retest, and production Sanity.
• Accurate and timely QA status reporting.
• Support the team in meeting release timelines without impacting BAU activities.

Requirement for a QA with 23 years of experience to join the QA team on a 3-month contract basis.

Requirement

Required Skills

• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in Software Quality Assurance.

Key Deliverables During Contract
