Job summary

Qualifications

• 14+ years of Software Quality Assurance, Test Management, and Test Automation experience.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for web UI automation testing.
• Experience across Functional, Regression, Integration, API, end-to-end, and UAT testing.
• Familiar with NFR testing including performance and security testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC/ STLC and defect lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the overall QA strategy, processes, standards, and governance across projects.
• Lead, mentor, and manage QA teams ensuring effective test planning, execution, and delivery.
• Drive automation initiatives using Playwright and improve automation coverage.
• Oversee functional, API, regression, end-to-end, performance, and security testing.
• Review and approve test plans, cases, scripts, and execution reports.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts, Developers, PMs, and stakeholders.
• Manage defect triage, root cause analysis, and release readiness.
• Track QA metrics and KPIs, providing regular status updates to leadership.
• Ensure automated tests are integrated into CI/CD for continuous testing.
• Drive continuous improvement and QA best practices across the organization.

We are looking for an experienced QA Test Manager with 14+ years of experience to lead end-to-end Quality Assurance for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will define the QA strategy, lead automation initiatives using Playwright, manage distributed QA teams, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software across multiple Agile projects. This role requires a strong combination of leadership, test management, automation expertise, and quality governance to drive reliable software releases.

Key Skills

• 14+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Test Management, and Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for web UI automation testing.
• Strong experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, API, End-to-End, and User Acceptance Testing.
• Experience in Non-Functional Testing (NFR), including Performance Testing and Security Testing.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, SDLC, STLC, test planning, execution, and defect lifecycle management.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Ability to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate potential quality and delivery risks early in the QA lifecycle.
• Strong ownership of QA delivery, release readiness, quality governance, and testing best practices across multiple projects.
• Experience driving process optimization, test strategy improvements, automation adoption, and continuous improvements across QA and SDLC practices.
• Proven ability to lead QA planning, execution, resource allocation, stakeholder communication, and delivery management.

• Manage defect triage, root cause analysis, release readiness, and production validation activities.
• Track QA metrics, quality KPIs, and testing progress, and provide regular status reports to leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure automated test suites are integrated into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster release cycles.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, establish QA best practices, and optimize testing processes across the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing enterprise-scale web and cloud-based applications.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and exposure to performance testing tools is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of modern QA practices, automation-first testing strategies, and quality engineering principles.
