Job summary

Crescon Projects is hiring a QA/QC Engineer Mechanical in Mumbai to lead QA/QC activities for data centre and industrial projects. You will prepare ITPs, QAPs, and method statements, inspect materials, monitor welding and fabrication, and coordinate NDT and testing.

The role requires 7+ years of mechanical QA/QC experience, strong knowledge of piping, HVAC, and QC documentation, and excellent coordination with production, design, consultants, and clients.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Mechanical QA/QC.
• Strong experience in Piping/Plumbing/PEB/HVAC, preferably Data Centre or Industrial Projects.
• Good knowledge of QA/QC documentation, welding inspection, NDT & testing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement ITP, QAP & Method Statements.
• Inspect incoming materials and maintain material traceability.
• Monitor fabrication, fit-up & welding activities.
• Ensure compliance with WPS, PQR & Welder Qualifications.
• Coordinate and review NDT RT, UT, PT & MT.
• Witness hydro/pressure testing and verify test reports.
• Conduct final inspections and prepare QA/QC dossiers.
• Support QA/QC activities through Testing & Commissioning.
• Raise, monitor and close NCRs with corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Production, Design, Consultants & Clients.
