Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions seeks a seasoned QA/QC Mechanical professional for our Jamnagar EPC project. You will lead the QA/QC Mechanical team on-site, oversee welding, piping, structural inspection, and ensure compliance with project specs and international codes.

Required are 12+ years in QA/QC Mechanical in EPC/construction, strong leadership, and hands-on site experience. Excellent communication and mentoring skills are essential for coordinating with clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of QA/QC Mechanical experience in EPC/construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of welding inspection, NDT methods, and material standards.
• Familiarity with ASME, AWS, IS codes, and international quality standards.
• Proven track record of managing QA/QC teams on large‑scale construction sites.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise QA/QC Mechanical activities across construction sites.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Conduct inspections on welding, structural steel, piping, and mechanical equipment.
• Review and approve material test certificates, welding procedures, and inspection reports.
• Implement and monitor quality control plans, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and checklists.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to resolve quality‑related issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior QA/QC engineers and inspectors.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for audits, certifications, and client approvals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality assurance processes.
