About the Role
We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Mechanical Inspector to join our team in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across mechanical systems and fabrication works within our oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on inspection experience and a strong understanding of codes, standards, and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of mechanical systems, piping, welding, and fabrication activities in accordance with approved procedures and project requirements.
- Verify that all mechanical works comply with drawings, specifications, and industry standards (ASME, API, etc.).
- Review and maintain QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, welding logs, and test records.
- Coordinate with construction, engineering, and project teams to ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
- Monitor material quality, equipment calibration, and inspection readiness.
- Participate in audits, punch list activities, and final handover documentation.
- Ensure adherence to company quality management systems and HSE policies at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Certified Welding Inspector (CSWIP 3.1) or equivalent certification required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the oil & gas sector.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical inspection techniques, standards, and NDT processes.
- Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams in a fast‑paced project environment.
