Job summary

Crystal Industrial Syndicate in Mumbai seeks a Mechanical Welding Engineer to interpret manufacturing processes and drawings, and to review welding docs (WPS, PQR, WPQR) for Siemens specifications. You will plan and supervise welding operations using codes, drawings, or contracts.

Requires a B.E. in mechanical engineering and strong knowledge of fabrication, welding, NDT, and related codes. Experience with pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, piping, and valves is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in mechanical engineering.
• Good knowledge of fabrication industry, welding, WPS, PQR, WPQR and NDT requirements.
• Experience with pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, piping, valves, pumps and related codes and standards for inspection, welding, heat treatment, dimension inspection and hydro testing.

Responsibilities

• Interpret manufacturing processes and drawings accurately.
• Review and approve welding documentation (WPSs, PQRs, WPQRs) to ensure Siemens welding specification.
• Plan, supervise, and document welding operations using relevant codes, drawings, or contracts.
