Job summary

Aarvi Encon in India is seeking a piping inspection professional responsible for monitoring fabrication, erection, installation and testing against approved drawings and project standards. You will review ITPs, method statements and QA/QC procedures, and coordinate NDT activities with subcontractors and site teams.

The role involves ensuring material traceability, maintaining test records, NCRs and quality documentation, and supporting handover dossiers with client alignment to ASME/API/ASTM

Qualifications

• Review ITP, Method Statements, QA/QC procedures, and inspection checklists.
• Inspect fit-up, welding, alignment, supports, flange joints, valves and piping components.
• Coordinate with client/consultant inspectors, construction, engineering and subcontractor teams.

Responsibilities

• Inspect piping fabrication, erection, installation and testing per drawings and project standards.
• Verify WPS/PQR and welder qualification requirements before welding activities.
• Coordinate NDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT) and review test reports.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, NCRs, punch lists and quality documentation.
• Raise NCRs and follow up on corrective/preventive actions.

Inspect and monitor piping fabrication, erection, installation, and testing activities as per approved drawings, specifications, and project standards. Review ITP, Method Statements, QA/QC procedures, and inspection checklists . Conduct inspection of fit-up, welding, alignment, supports, flange joints, valves, and piping components . Verify WPS/PQR and welder qualification requirements before welding activities. Coordinate NDT activities such as RT, UT, MT, and PT and review test reports. Ensure proper material identification, traceability, and MTC verification . Monitor hydrostatic/pneumatic testing, flushing, reinstatement, and pressure testing activities. Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test records, NCRs, punch lists, and quality documentation . Raise and follow up on NCRs and ensure corrective/preventive actions are completed. Coordinate with client/consultant inspectors, construction, engineering, and subcontractor teams for inspections and approvals. Ensure all piping works comply with applicable ASME/API/ASTM standards, project specifications, and HSE requirements . Support preparation of final quality dossiers and handover documentation .
