Job summary

Aarvi Encon is seeking a piping QA/QC inspector to oversee fabrication, erection, and testing against approved drawings and standards. You will review ITPs and QMS documentation, inspect welds, alignments, and components, and coordinate NDT activities to ensure quality and compliance.

You will verify WPS/PQR, maintain records, raise NCRs, and collaborate with client, engineering, and subcontractor teams to ensure adherence to ASME/API/ASTM and HSE requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum technical degree in mechanical/industrial engineering.
• Experience in piping fabrication inspection and QA/QC.
• Familiarity with ASME/API/ASTM standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect piping fabrication, erection, installation, and testing per drawings, specs, and project standards.
• Review ITPs, Method Statements, QA/QC procedures, and inspection checklists.
• Inspect fit-up, welding, alignment, supports, flange joints, valves, and piping components.
• Verify WPS/PQR and welder qualifications before welding.
• Coordinate NDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT) and review test reports.
• Ensure material identification, traceability, and MTC verification.
• Monitor hydrostatic/pneumatic testing, flushing, reinstatement, and pressure testing.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test records, NCRs, punch lists, and quality documentation.
• Raise NCRs and ensure corrective/preventive actions are completed.
• Coordinate with client/consultant inspectors, construction, engineering, and subcontractor teams.
• Ensure piping works comply with ASME/API/ASTM standards, project specs, and HSE requirements.
• Support preparation of final quality dossiers and handover documentation.

Review ITP, Method Statements, QA/QC procedures, and inspection checklists.

Conduct inspection of fit-up, welding, alignment, supports, flange joints, valves, and piping components.

Verify WPS/PQR and welder qualification requirements before welding activities.

Coordinate NDT activities such as RT, UT, MT, and PT and review test reports.

Ensure proper material identification, traceability, and MTC verification.

Monitor hydrostatic/pneumatic testing, flushing, reinstatement, and pressure testing activities.

Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test records, NCRs, punch lists, and quality documentation.

Raise and follow up on NCRs and ensure corrective/preventive actions are completed.

Coordinate with client/consultant inspectors, construction, engineering, and subcontractor teams for inspections and approvals.

Ensure all piping works comply with applicable ASME/API/ASTM standards, project specifications, and HSE requirements.
