A.TReDS Ltd. is seeking a QA Lead - Automation & Performance Testing with 10+ years of experience in QA, fintech domain. The role focuses on defining QA strategy, building scalable automation, and leading performance testing across the SDLC.

Candidate will drive API testing, CI/CD integration, and data integrity validation while mentoring QA teams to ensure high-quality releases in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive QA strategy, testing standards, and processes across the SDLC.
• Lead functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and API testing to ensure quality.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks to improve coverage.
• Lead performance testing (load, stress, endurance) using tools like LoadRunner and JMeter.
• Identify bottlenecks and collaborate with Eng and DevOps to improve performance.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable faster releases.
• Establish QA metrics, manage defects, perform root-cause analysis, reduce leakage.
• Ensure testing of financial transactions, workflows, integrations, reconciliations, data integrity.
• Collaborate with PM, Eng, DevOps and Business teams to assess release risks and sign off.
• Maintain test documentation and evidence for audits and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and mentor QA leads/engineers to continuously improve testing practices.

Designation: QA Lead - Automation & Performance Testing

Experience: 10+ years

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the QA strategy, testing standards, and processes across the software development lifecycle.
• Lead functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and API testing to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks to improve test coverage and reduce manual testing effort.
• Lead performance testing, including load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing, using tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and collaborate with Engineering and DevOps teams to improve application performance and stability.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable faster and more reliable releases.
• Establish QA metrics, manage defect triage, conduct root-cause analysis, and reduce production defect leakage.
• Ensure comprehensive testing of financial transactions, business workflows, integrations, reconciliations, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with Project managers, Engineering, DevOps, and Business teams to assess release risks and provide quality signoffs.
• Maintain test documentation, traceability, and evidence to support audits and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Lead and mentor QA leads / QA engineers and continuously improve testing practices and delivery quality.

Experience and Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or Quality Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience in test automation frameworks, scripting, and automation strategy.
• Proven experience in API testing using tools such as Postman and REST Assured.
• Strong experience in performance and load testing using LoadRunner, JMeter.
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and working with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices, databases, SQL, and distributed application architectures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fintech, banking, BFSI, or financial transaction-processing platforms.
• Experience working with an RBI-regulated entity will be an added advantage.
• Exposure to TReDS, lending, payments, or supply-chain finance platforms will be preferred.
• Experience using AI based tools for test case generation, automation, test data generation, or test execution and analysis will be an added advantage.
• Experience in security testing.
