Aadvik Tech Services Pvt Ltd is seeking a QA Engineer for a remote India-based role focusing on API testing, mobile testing, and SQL validation within capital market workflows.

The candidate will design and execute comprehensive test plans, perform functional and regression testing across web and mobile apps, and validate APIs using Postman. This is a 6-month contractual engagement with flexible remote work.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Software Testing/QA experience.
• API testing and mobile application testing experience.
• Strong SQL knowledge for data validation.
• Experience validating capital market systems is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on product requirements.
• Perform end-to-end functional testing of web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
• Validate backend APIs using tools like Postman.
• Perform request/response validation, schema verification, and error handling checks.
• Design and execute API test cases for integration and regression testing.
• Conduct functional, usability, and regression testing on mobile applications.
• Validate app behavior across devices, OS versions, and network conditions.
• Identify UI/UX issues and performance inconsistencies.
• Use SQL queries to validate data integrity and backend transactions.
• Verify database updates triggered by APIs and application workflows.
• Test workflows related to capital market applications, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, order management and trading logic.
• Understand business rules related to market operations and financial data flows.
• Assist in developing or maintaining automation test scripts.
• Collaborate with automation engineers to improve regression coverage.

Position Overview:

This role requires 3-5 years of experience in Software Testing/QA and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. The QA Engineer will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test plans, performing functional and manual testing across web and mobile applications, and ensuring data integrity through database validation.
