Your responsibilities will involve defining QA processes, mentoring junior engineers, and executing various types of testing, including automation and performance testing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with tools like Selenium and JMeter and a background in agile methodologies.

• Solid experience in API testing (Postman, Rest Assured).
• Experience in performance testing using JMeter.

Role Overview

We are looking for a QA Lead to take end-to-end ownership of the quality assurance function across our product suite. This role goes beyond execution — you will define QA strategy, build scalable automation frameworks, and ensure high-quality releases for enterprise‑grade financial systems.

You will work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to drive a culture of quality, reliability, and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement QA strategies, processes, and best practices across products
• Build and scale automation frameworks from scratch
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers

Automation & Testing

• Design and maintain UI automation frameworks using Selenium (Java/Python) and Playwright
• Develop and execute API automation tests using Postman and Rest Assured
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing
• Conduct manual testing for early‑stage features and critical releases

Performance & System Validation

• Execute performance, load, and stress testing using JMeter
• Perform backend and database validation using PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Ensure high reliability of data‑intensive financial systems

CI/CD & DevOps Integration

• Integrate automation test suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Set up and maintain automated testing environments
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define test scenarios and ensure complete coverage
• Work in Agile/Scrum environments and manage defect lifecycle
• Drive quality across continuous releases
• Work with cloud environments like AWS and Azure

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–6 years of experience in manual and automation testing
• Strong hands‑on experience with Selenium (Java/Python) and Playwright
• Solid experience in API testing (Postman, Rest Assured)
• Experience in performance testing using JMeter
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices
• Good knowledge of SQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
• Experience in a startup or fast‑paced environment is preferred
