Job Summary
We are looking for a QA Lead to drive quality assurance initiatives across our ordering and payment platform. This role will be critical in reducing production bugs, improving release quality, and implementing automation-first testing practices.
You will work closely with Engineering, Product, and Support teams to ensure all features are delivered with high reliability, especially across critical flows such as orders, payments, and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated test frameworks (UI, API, integration)
- Build and maintain regression suites within CI/CD pipelines
- Drive shift-left testing practices
- Define and execute test plans, cases, and scenarios
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
- Ensure high coverage across critical business flows
- Manage structured bug triage (P0–P3 severity)
- Track defects using Jira / Linear and ensure timely resolution
- Partner with Engineering to reduce MTTR
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Support release validation, smoke testing, and rollback readiness
- Own QA sign-off and go/no-go decisions for releases
- Lead and mentor QA engineers; enforce QA standards and best practices
- Establish QA metrics (defect leakage, coverage, MTTR) and reporting
- Act as the main QA point of contact for stakeholders
- Lead post-release reviews and root cause analysis
- Work with Product, Engineering, and Support to improve quality processes
- Identify gaps and implement preventative measures
Requirements
Experience
- 7-8+ years in QA / SDET roles (SaaS, fintech, or e-commerce preferred)
- Experience leading QA initiatives or small teams
Technical Skills
- Experience with Selenium / Cypress / Playwright
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Understanding of microservices architecture and basic SQL
