Job summary

Merkle in Pune invites an experienced QA Analyst to join DGS India projects, ensuring deliverables meet client expectations and requirements. You will participate across the project lifecycle as a subject matter expert for data and testing, with strong focus on DWH, SQL and ETL testing.

The role requires proficiency in SQL, ETL concepts, and experience with Azure, JIRA and Agile methodologies, plus solid communication skills to liaise with clients and teams.

Qualifications

• Experience & Knowledge in DWH and Database Testing.
• SQL and ETL testing knowledge.
• Translate requirements into test cases.
• Proficiency with SQL language and Data Warehousing principles.
• Any ETL Tool knowledge.
• Azure preferred, Cloud experience.
• Experience on JIRA and Agile.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Write test plans, design test cases, develop test SQL scripts, test conditions, test procedures and expected results.
• Work on DWH / Database testing.
• Perform all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load, system testing, and UAT.
• Create large volumes of test data if required.
• Track and reports defect using appropriate tools such as JIRA.
• Validate fixes and ensure follow through to all test cycles.
• Communicate test status to internal project team and clients.
