Job summary

Merkle in Pune, India, seeks a QA Analyst to act as a gatekeeper between development and clients, ensuring deliverables meet requirements. You will perform DWH/database testing, design test cases, run SQL scripts, and validate data across the project lifecycle. The role requires strong communication, agile collaboration, and familiarity with ETL tools and cloud tech.

Shift timing is 12 PM–9 PM IST or 2 PM–11 PM IST; permanent full-time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master Degree or equivalent.
• Experience in DWH and database testing required.
• SQL and ETL testing knowledge essential.

Responsibilities

• Write test plans, design test cases, develop test SQL scripts, test conditions, test procedures and expected results.
• Work on DWH / Database testing across the project lifecycle.
• Perform functional, regression, load, system testing and UAT.
• Create large volumes of test data if required.
• Track and report defects using JIRA and other tools.
• Validate fixes and ensure follow-through to all test cycles.
• Investigate remediation strategies for data quality issues and process failures.
• Communicate test status to internal teams and clients.

Must have skills

Education Qulification
