Job summary

UST is seeking a Python Automation framework Developer for the semiconductor domain in Bengaluru. The role focuses on building and maintaining automation frameworks in Python to test firmware development code for data center applications.

The candidate will create C-models and collaborate on CI/CD pipelines across Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions to improve test coverage. Required are 5+ years of experience, a BTech in ECE/CS, and hands-on skills in OOP, SystemC, and modern testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication / computer engineering
• 5+ years of experience in semiconductor software development or related field
• Experience with Python automation frameworks and testing tools

Responsibilities

• Develop c-models to test firmware development code for data center.
• Develop and maintain Python automation frameworks for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps/Jenkins/GitHub Actions.

The Opportunity

UST is looking for Python Automation framework Developer.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

This individual will be primarily responsible for development of c-models to test FW development code for Data Center.

Preferred Experience

• Strong knowledge of OOP concepts and design principles, including abstraction, encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism, for building scalable and maintainable systems.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks in Python for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Proficient in test frameworks and tooling such as PyTest/unit test, mocking, and test data management to improve quality and coverage.
• Experienced in CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance, including automated build, test, and deployment workflows in Azure DevOps/Jenkins/GitHub Actions.

Desired Skills

Bachelor' degree in Electronics and Communication / computer engineering

Qualification

BTech in ECE/Computer Science 5+ Years of experience
