Job summary

UST is seeking a skilled SDET/Engineer for a hands-on role in Bengaluru. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks, contribute to both development and test activities, and ensure quality across the software lifecycle.

Strong coding and API testing experience are essential. You will collaborate with developers, QA, and product owners, review requirements early, and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or a similar language.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, REST Assured, or equivalent.
• Strong experience in API testing and automation.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP concepts, JSON, and web technologies.
• Experience with unit, integration, functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience working with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development practices.
