Job summary

Elfonze Technologies is seeking a Python Automation Framework Developer to build test artifacts, plans and cases and ensure product quality. The role covers system, integration and regression testing, with focus on automating frameworks in Python and producing CI-based test reports.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years' experience in embedded systems testing, Linux/Android apps, and proficiency with Pytest and related frameworks. On-site Bengaluru location preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in EE or CSE with 3–6 years' experience.
• Experience with listed test frameworks and embedded testing.
• Background in system testing incl. drivers SPI, I2C, UART, RTOS, Linux/Android.

Responsibilities

• Develop test artifacts, plans and cases and verify functionality.
• Perform all levels of software testing: System, Integration, Regression.
• Detect and track defects and inconsistencies in software.

Python Automation Framework Developer

Candidatewill be responsible for developing test artifacts for production ready softwarefollowing a defined software development process. The candidate(s) must becapable of analysing specifications, developing test plans, test cases andverifying functionality.

• Responsiblefor alllevels of softwaretesting (System, Integration, and Regression )
• Knowledge on all phase of STLC - Test Plan, Test casedesign, Test execution and Test Report generation .
• Detect and track softwaredefects and inconsistencies
• Design and develop automation framework and scripts in python . Experience with Pytest framework would be an advantage.
• Generating test reports fromcontinuous integration/Jenkins/Git
• Collaborate closely with otherteam members and departments
• Apply software engineering andquality principles in software verification
• Should work from ADBL location

BasicQualifications:

• Bachelor's/master's degree inelectrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent and 3-6 Yearsof related industry experience.
• Experience in usinganyof the industry standard test frameworks - Test Stack/ Robot framework/ Auto It/ NI LabView / Spectron/ Pytest
• Background in system testing(including drivers like SPI, I2C, UART), RTOS based applications, Linux/Android basedapplications, etc.
• Working knowledge of software development tools (debugger's,emulators, compilers , etc.).
• Experience in developing test framework and debugging software in areal-time, embedded, multiprocessor, multi-interface environment .
• Creative problem-solvercapable of testing and reproducing complex software problems and providingsolutions to them.
