The Purchasing Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Chennai Area. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement of fabrics, trims, T shirts, ready-made garments, and related materials required for uniform and work wear production. Day-to-day activities include identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating pricing and contracts, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery in line with production schedules and client deadlines. The Purchasing Manager will collaborate closely with production, design, and sales teams to forecast demand, align material specifications with customer requirements, and support new product development. The role also involves monitoring market trends, analyzing cost and quality data, managing vendor relationships, and implementing purchasing policies that support cost efficiency and quality standards.
