Job summary

Pharmaceutical Trading and Healthcare Supply Company in Thaltej (Ahmedabad) is seeking a Purchase Executive to manage end-to-end procurement activities for Finished Goods, Raw Materials, APIs, and pharma products. You will coordinate with Quality, Logistics, and cross-functional teams to issue RFQs, evaluate quotes, and process purchase orders in the ERP system.

Qualifications

• Graduate with 5-7 years in procurement of finished goods, raw material, API or pharma products.
• Experience in global procurement and dealing with international suppliers.
• Knowledge of pharma regulations, certifications, and quality requirements.
• Strong negotiation, coordination, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• ERP experience; AX knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Execute procurement activities in compliance with organizational policies, SOPs, and procurement procedures.
• Coordinate with Quality, Logistics, and other internal teams to ensure seamless procurement operations.
• Issue RFQs, evaluate supplier quotations, and manage procurement documentation.
• Prepare purchase orders through the ERP system and monitor order execution.
• Maintain vendor and pricing databases and support procurement budgeting.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and on-site audits for Indian suppliers.
• Assist with product identification, supplier coordination, and procurement process improvements.
• Provide support to the Procurement Manager in training and mentoring the procurement team.
