Job summary

Manpowergroup Services India is seeking a Purchase & Store Manager in the Mumbai region. The role involves ensuring stock availability across sites, supervising dispatches and transport arrangements, and supporting engineers with material supplies to maintain smooth operations.

You will administer material movements, coordinate with accounts and procurement teams, and prepare monthly MIS reports. The position requires strong organizational skills and experience in warehouse and inventory control.

Job description

Position : Purchase & Store Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Managing proper stock availability in all Sites according to requirements
• Supervising total dispatches, arrangement of transport services and courier services for smooth dispatches
• Extending support to the Engineers, to solve their commercial issues and ensures supplies
• Administering, verifying & completing the cycle of all material movements (i.e. material receipt material issue, and monthly stock statement activities)
• Working closely with transporters and courier companies for domestic dispatches
• Updating all the reports & records for MIS & presenting the same on monthly basis
• Completing material codification & analysis the inventory by using appropriate method for proper inventory management
• Monitoring shortages of current and next upcoming projects as per plan
• Collaborating with Accounts Dept., Purchase Dept., for smooth flow of material and documents clearance (i.e. invoices of suppliers)
• Supervising stores & spares, packing materials, tools, fuel effectively as per the ideal/ optimum inventory & to make available balanced flow of materials to meet operation schedule
• Developing inventory levels, allocating minimum level, reorder level of store items based on the consumption pattern, developing auto procurement modules to minimize inventory position
• Formulating regular MIS Reports indicating Stock Holding, Consumption, Ordering Position, Slow Moving & Non-moving Inventory, & so on
• Coordinating with various Department Heads to ascertain & prioritize stock of materials of productivity importance and provide excellent service delivery
• Maintaining physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
• Managing standardized receiving, stocking, checking and housekeeping procedures and conducting hazardous material/safety training for employees
