Job description

A Store & Purchase Executive manages inventory, procurement, and vendor relations to ensure smooth supply chain operations. They balance cost efficiency with timely availability of materials.

• Manage to materials / items at construction site on timely and accuracy.
• Manage properly every data in soft copy and hard copy.
• Assess potential risks, materials and costs.
• Provide advice and resolve creatively any problems / deficiencies.
• Monitor materials and compile reports status report.
• Manage purchase equipment / materials.
• Planning of work should be in advance a day
• Site order Book, Material & Stock record register (in word, out word), Labor attendance register, Machinery & Equipment log book, Safety and Quality.
• Management of time as per Target and to be shared with management time to time.
• Co-ordination with Architect, contractor, client and management.
• Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, quality and safety etc and deliver all items and other technical documentation as required.
• All concerned Legal norms should be followed by you.

Over all materials and store responsibility of construction site as per quality norms.

Purchasing & Procurement

Source suppliers and negotiate contracts.

• Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, equipment, or services.
• Maintain vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance.

Inventory & Store Management

Monitor stock levels and reorder when necessary.

• Maintain accurate records of receipts, issues, and balances.
• Implement FIFO/LIFO methods for material handling.

Documentation & Compliance

Prepare purchase orders, invoices, and GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes).

• Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with finance for payment processing.

Coordination

Liaise with project/site teams to understand material requirements.

• Work with logistics for timely delivery.
• Report to management on purchase and stock status.
