Job summary

GloQ Innovations Pvt. Ltd. in Chennai is seeking a Purchase Executive to identify and procure packing materials for skincare products. The role emphasizes supplier management, regulatory compliance, and timely, cost-effective delivery while upholding quality.

You will coordinate with R&D, QA/QC and production, evaluate vendors, and maintain supplier records and COA/MSDS documentation to ensure smooth material flow and traceability.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Science, Pharmacy or Cosmetics Technology.
• 1–4 years of experience sourcing cosmetic/skincare raw materials.
• Strong knowledge of cosmetic ingredient standards and certifications.
• Experience in supplier management and cost negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure identified active ingredients from approved vendors.
• Identify third Party Manufacturing partners and R&D labs for product development.
• Evaluate suppliers based on quality, certifications, reliability, and cost.
• Negotiate contracts and payment terms with suppliers.
• Manage logistics, imports, and customs clearance where applicable.
• Liaise with internal teams (R&D, QA/QC, production) to ensure smooth material flow.
• Maintain vendor database, pricing history, and procurement records.
• Ensure all documentation (MSDS, COA, regulatory compliance) is complete and up to date.

Role Overview:

The Purchase Executive will be responsible for identifying and procuring Packing Materials for our skincare product line. This role demands strong supplier management, knowledge of cosmetic raw material & packing material compliance, and the ability to ensure timely, cost-effective ingredient delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
