Job summary

Purpleeon Consulting Services seeks a Sourcing & Supply Chain Executive with skincare packaging expertise to identify and procure active ingredients for our cosmetics product line. The role requires 4–10 years in sourcing cosmetic raw materials, knowledge of cosmetic ingredient standards, and cross-functional collaboration with R&D, QA/QC, and production to maintain

Qualifications

• Graduate in Science, Pharmacy, Cosmetics Technology, or Supply Chain Management.
• 4-10 years of experience in sourcing cosmetic/skincare raw materials.
• Strong knowledge of cosmetic ingredient standards and certifications.
• Experience in supply chain coordination and vendor management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure identified active ingredients from approved vendors.
• Identify third Party Manufacturing partners and R&D labs for product development.
• Evaluate suppliers based on quality, certifications, reliability, and cost.
• Negotiate contracts and payment terms with suppliers.
• Manage logistics, imports, and customs clearance where applicable.

Job Role Summary :

Experience in demonstrating deep domain expertise in skincare packaging, strong research capabilities, and a solution-oriented mindset along with some sourcing experience.Exposure to new product packaging development in the cosmetics industry, which is a key requirement for this role.

The Sourcing & Supply Chain Executive will be responsible for identifying and procuring high-quality active ingredients for our skincare product line. This role demands strong supplier management, knowledge of cosmetic raw material compliance, and the ability to ensure timely, cost-effective ingredient delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities :

• Source and procure identified active ingredients from approved vendors.


• Identify third Party Manufacturing partners and R& D labs for product development.


• Evaluate suppliers based on quality, certifications, reliability, and cost.


• Negotiate contracts and payment terms with suppliers.


• Manage logistics, imports, and customs clearance where applicable.


• Liaise with internal teams (R&D if applicable, QA/QC, production) to ensure smooth material flow.


• Maintain vendor database, pricing history, and procurement records.


• Ensure all documentation (MSDS, COA, regulatory compliance) is complete and up to date.

Qualification and Experience :

• Graduate in Science, Pharmacy, Cosmetics Technology, or Supply Chain Management.


• 4-10 years of experience in sourcing cosmetic/skincare raw materials.


• Strong knowledge of cosmetic ingredient standards and certifications.


• Experience in supply chain coordination and vendor management.


• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.


• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.


• Qualified in Packaging Devt. will be an added advantage
