Job summary

Kimirica Hunter International is seeking a Purchase Officer – MRO to manage procurement of maintenance, repair, and operational materials for smooth plant operations. You will source vendors, obtain quotations, create POs, and coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, Stores, Production, and Finance in a manufacturing setup.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of MRO purchase experience, a Commerce or Engineering-related degree, and working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/SAP.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in MRO / Engineering Purchase, preferably in manufacturing.
• Graduate degree in Commerce, Engineering, Procurement, or related field.
• Good knowledge of MRO and engineering materials.
• Strong vendor management, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Procure MRO, engineering spares, maintenance consumables, tools, electrical and mechanical items.
• Source and develop reliable vendors and obtain competitive quotations.
• Compare quotations, negotiate pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely deliveries.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, Stores, Production, and Finance.
• Follow up on pending orders, material shortages, and quality issues.
• Identify alternate vendors and cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain purchase records and vendor documentation.
