Job summary

Glowria Lifecare is seeking a procurement professional to manage purchasing of raw materials, packaging, and consumables in line with approved specifications. You will source vendors, obtain quotations, and negotiate terms to prevent production delays.

The candidate should have a graduate degree in B.Com/BBA/Pharmacy/Science and 25 years of experience in pharmaceutical purchasing, with strong GMP knowledge and ERP/MS Excel skills for planning and documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate in B.Com/BBA/Pharmacy/Science or related field.
• 25 years of experience in pharmaceutical/manufacturing purchase.
• Knowledge of GMP, vendor management, and procurement processes.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and follow-up skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel/ERP systems.
• Excellent planning, coordination and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Purchase raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and other supplies as per approved specifications.
• Source and evaluate approved/qualified vendors and obtain quotations.
• Negotiate price, quality, delivery timelines, and payment terms.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain purchase records.
• Coordinate with QA, QC, Production, Stores, and Accounts for material requirements and approvals.
• Ensure timely procurement to avoid production delays or stock-outs.
• Monitor vendor performance, material delivery, and quality issues.
• Ensure purchases comply with GMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain documentation, vendor records, quotations, and purchase reports.
• Follow up on pending orders, rejected materials, and replacements.
